Bernice & Barclay is proud to be 100% made and manufactured in Canada. The label uses exquisite fabrics, flattering lines, and attention to detail to create a modern and feminine look within their collections.
The minds behind the label, Lorianne Hawdur and Jamieson Nesbitt, are customer-driven and realize the importance of individuality through stylistic expression. A fun fact that shows their personal expression lies in the name; Bernice & Barclay is a combination of Lorianne and Jamieson’s middle names.
Their Fall/Winter 2013 collection, which debuted at Ottawa Fashion Week in February 2013, drew inspiration from Debbie Harry and Kate Middleton. The collection, their first, featured a series of knitwear dresses and tied together edginess and sophistication.
The inspiration behind the upcoming Spring/Summer 2014 collection is taken from iconic 60’s beauties in the Italian Riviera. The collection, to be debuted at Ottawa Fashion Week in September 2013, will feature a bold colour scheme with multiple prints and silhouettes. There will be a range of light easy wearable summer pieces to a more bold and edgy look of dresses and separates.
Bernice & Barclay’s exclusive collections are produced in low numbers of each style and colour. The line will be available for purchase online, in select boutiques in Toronto and Ottawa, and through pop-up shops in the Ottawa area.
